About
I'm a Computer Science student at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar interested in machine learning, 3D computer vision, robotics, and practical software systems. I am currently working on evaluating monocular depth estimation methods for metric 3D mapping and active visual control.
Skills
Research
- Metric Depth & 3D Mapping Undergraduate summer research with Prof. Gianni Di Caro at CMU-Q. Evaluating monocular depth models such as Depth Anything V2, UniDepth, ZoeDepth, and DPT/MiDaS for high-accuracy metric 3D mapping and active visual control, with attention to repetitive industrial scenes and scale ambiguity.
- LLM Autograding for Notebook Assessments Built a rubric-guided LLM grading pipeline for flow-structured Jupyter notebook assignments, with schema-constrained outputs, Gradescope export, and review tooling.
Projects
- Autonomous Robotics Independent Study ROS and Gazebo work from an autonomous robotics independent study: control, localization, mapping, and planning (PID, bug navigation, VFH, path following).
- City Image Classifier CNN city image classifier with TensorFlow/Keras.
- ML Notebook Autograder LLM-assisted Gradescope pipeline: ingests notebook submissions, parses answers by question, generates rubrics, grades at scale, and exports to Gradescope and Excel (CLI and FastAPI web UI).
- Smart Dispatch Simulation Multi-agent logistics simulation with combinatorial bidding.
- Graph Theory Library Python library for graph structures and algorithms.
- Athan GNOME Extension GNOME Shell extension fork for Athan prayer times.
